President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday appointed Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” Nepal’s new Prime minister with the support of 169 lawmakers.

CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is the country’s new prime minister. He received the support of 169 lawmakers.

The CPN-UML, CPN-Maoist Centre, Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janata Samajbadi Party, Janamat Party and Nagarik Unmukti Party supported him.
