KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has officially released the election schedule for its highly anticipated 14th National Convention. The schedule was finalized after a series of meetings among top party leaders, aiming to conduct the convention in a free, fair, and timely manner.
According to the public schedule, the convention will kick off with the registration of representatives, followed by nominations for various leadership positions, including the party president, office-bearers, and central working committee members. The voting is slated to take place over two days, ensuring all registered members have the opportunity to cast their vote.

This convention is seen as a pivotal moment for the nation's oldest democratic party. The Central Election Committee has stated that all necessary preparations are underway to ensure the smooth execution of the election. "We are committed to upholding the party's democratic values and ensuring a transparent election process," a committee member told the press. The results are expected to be announced shortly after the conclusion of the voting process.
