Kathmandu Metropolis will give Rs. 25 per day for lunch to government school students

Kathmandu Metropolitan City has proposed to give Rs. 25 per day for lunch expenses to government school students.

The city executive meeting held on Sunday has proposed to provide Rs. 25 to all children studying up to class 8.

According to the Metropolitan Corporation, it is proposed that the federal government will give Rs. 15 as lunch to the children who study up to class and the Metropolitan Corporation will add Rs. 10 to it.

The meeting of the Metropolitan Municipality has already allocated a budget of 9 million rupees to provide lunch expenses for the children studying in class 8.

In addition to this, the Metropolitan Corporation has also proposed to appoint a food inspector to monitor food items. There is news in today’s business daily.
